9.  Barbary sheep: These agile animals are excellently adapted to life in mountains.  Barbary sheep come from North Africa.

10.  Nubian Ibex:  Like the Barbary sheep, the ibex also lives in mountains.  The Nubian ibex from Arabia is highly endangered.

11.  Hartman's mountain zebra:  This zebra is subspecies of the mountain zebra, but is manly found in Namibia.

12.  Ground hornbill:  This unusual bird is highly endangered because of the destruction of its natural habitat and insecticides that poison their food.
