Well, here's your chance!
The Zoo provides several activities, and educational projects to the benefit of conservation and all you got to do is get involved. Even if you can't visit the Zoo there is projects in which you can participate.
1. Simply visit the Zoo and enjoy the following fun activities:
The Zoo Choo-Choo Tractor Train takes you on rides through the Zoo.
A cable car ride will provide you with a panoramic view of the Zoo and surrounding city.
The day tour is a two hour tour, through the Zoo:
- Arrangements can be made to visit the Animal Nursery, Animal Hospital and Animal Kitchen.
- If you seeking adventure go on a night tour and explore the fascinating world of nocturnal animals. Your guide will take you on a walk through the Zoo while regarding you with interesting information. A barbeque and bonfire is also included.
- Become part of our volunteer system and work in the restaurants, as a guide or generally just help in the Zoo.
2. If you can't visit the Zoo...
Then adopt a wild child.
Yes, individuals, school, societies or companies can adopt a Zoo animal and enjoy all the wonders of parenthood with none work. This is your opportunity to share in the pride and pleasure of some of the world's magnificent creatures.
Unfortunately you cannot take your wild child home, but you will be helping to provide the support necessary to feed and care for your favourite animal for a full year.
You will receive a personlised Adoption Certificate. You will receive a quartely list of new adoptive parents . You will be entitled to a free entrance ticket - issued according to the category of adoption. A name board will be erected free of charge. For certain adoptions you will receive our quartely Zoon Magazine. After a year you will have the opportunity to renew your adoption.

Become a friend of the Zoo.
The moment you join as a friend of the Zoo, you become part of a vary special family: people who love nature, who are keen to get involved in animal and plant life and who want to preserve it for future generations. As a friend of the Zoo you will help the Zoo with its enormous task of conserving wildlife and breeding endangered species that are becoming extinct in the wild.
The Zoo's friends are entitled to money previliges.
