When we were first introduced to the Tuberculosis issue. We must admit that we weren't really interested. We thought that there were many other diseases which had a higher priority, eg. AIDS, which is true, but What got us thinking and more drawn to it was the fact that , this world of ours faces a major crisis when it comes to Tuberculosis control even though it is treatable. A third of the worlds population is infected and an estimated 30 million people will die in the next ten years. This is no joke.

Tuberculosis is a serious health issue which threathens health services around the world. That is why this web site is designed to give you an easy to understand view on the disease and in particular it's devastating effects here in our country South Africa.
