Tanzania

What today is known as the United Republic of Tanzania lies in east Africa, bordering the Indian ocean. Natural wonders and reserves of this country include Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest mountain, the Serengeti National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater.The people of this country are divided into as many as 120 ethnic groups .

Tanzania was where the Leakeys did most of their work, and has contributed a vast amount of information to the library of fossils of prehistoric man.
