The Handyman

One of the most important steps in the evolution of man was the developement of his ability to think.  By this, we mean his ability to question events, link ideas together and apply his knowledge. If it wasn't for this ability, we wouldn't have invention, language, or even speech!  We would be very much like the animals found in the wild today, whose thought processes are only advanced enough to enable them to know how and when to eat and sleep.

This section deals with man's technological advances through the ages, from the invention of stone tools, right through to the first use of fire.
