Vehicle Safety

Vehicle safety is not something you want to joke about. Vehicle crashes are the leading cause of unintentional deaths. The odds are 1 out of 3 that you will be seriously hurt in a car crash and 1 out of 100 that you will be killed. More than 40,000 people are killed in car crashes each year. Over half of of the people that are killed in car crashes were not wearing their seat belts. Here are some safety tips to follow.

Safety Tips For Vehicle Safety:
Most important, you should always have your seatbelt on, no matter the speed or distance you are going. At intersections you should stop and look both ways before crossing. Make sure you always buckle the child car seats correctly, so they won't fail to protect the child. Watch out for pedestrians, bikers, and roller bladers. Always stop at stop lights and stop signs so you don't collide with someone else. Never drive after drinking or taking medicines. Have someone else drive you home. If you ride a motorcycle or a 4-wheeler you should wear a helmet because it could save your life if you get into a crash.
