Tools and machines make things in life easier to do, but they may also cause
injuries. Workshop tools need to be used with care. Here are some rules to
follow when using tools and machines.
Safety rules on tools and machines:
First, get instruction in using the tool.
Have an adult help you use it. Always wear eye protection when using tools
such as a saw or hammer. Wear suitable clothes for the job you are doing.
For example, when building something, wear work clothes. Keep tools and
machines in order. Make sure cords aren't frayed when using electric tools.
Put all tools and machines away when done using them.
