Every year childen are hurt by such things such as shocks and burns. Here are some tips to prevent shocks and burns.

Safety Tips on Shocks and Burns:
Leave the fireworks to the professionals. Never unplug, plug in, or turn on or off an electric appliance with wet hands or while standing barefoot on a wet surface. Never take apart or fix an electrical appliance without first unplugging it. When cooking with hot oil or boiling water, don't lift the lid and peer closely inside. Open packages of microwaved food away from you to allow the steam to escape. Never touch a hot pot with your bare hands. It will burn you. Always use oven mitts so you don't burn your hands.
