Even if you don't live in a highly computerized environment you will still be effected by the year 2000 problem. If the customers of your company, or even you, can not get credit approval or checks from the bank, that business would be at a standstill. You will not receive pension checks, proper bills, or proper income. Without reliable computerized dates, the given expiration date on the food that you buy may not be correct, the same thing will happen with most of your other resources. It is probable that power and water will be shut down in your home and business. Because all resources are distributed by electrical data, most of those companies will be out of business, and you will not receive any bills. (This isn't necessarily a good thing). Security cameras, alarm systems, teller machines etc… will be down, leaving everybody a prime victim and suspect for looting.
