The basic answer to whether or not God exists is YES. But what kind of God? I believe the Bible tells us how God is. But the question was about proof. There is none. But there is no other way. If one carefully examines the theories, the evolution theory is not the answer. The panspermia theory does not give an answer. If the universe created itself, it must have existed before it created itself, othervise it couldn't have created itself. So something must have made the universe, and all within (how is a detail), and that being/force/person can be called God. I don't believe in evolution. It doesn't give any answers. There is not chance for evolution. Definately not without God's help, but not even theistic evolution is supported by evidence found in nature. If there was proof, I wouldn't believe, I'd know. God didn't want us to be forced to know about Him, He wanted us to willingly seek Him as the Origin, the Creator, the Beginning. I now believe in God because there is no other explanation to how things came to being. The Bible tells me how and who God is. My head tells me that God is. A professor said that because he hadn't seen, heard, or touched God, He doesn't exist. A student said that because he hadn't seen, heard, or touched the professors brain, it didn't exist. =)
