Soccer legend, Eric Cantona, is most well known for his time spent with Manchester United. Born in Nimes, France on May 24th, 1966, Cantona played for the French National Squad and a variety of club teams, both French and English. His favorite, however, was Manchester United. It was at Manchester that Cantona led his team to 4 league titles and 2 FA Cup titles and was voted Footballer of the Year - both in 1994 and 1996. Unfortunately for soccer fans, he retired from the sport the following year to relax. Cantona will forever be remembered as one of Manchester's greatest players during its greatest time.
