Gabriel Omar Batistuta (nicknamed "Batigol") is ranked among the greatest ever to play soccer. Batistuta was born on January 2nd, 1969 in Reconquista, Argentina. Twenty-two years later, on January 9th, 1991, he made his debut in the great Italian league with the club team, Fiorentina. Since then, Batistuta has come to be an international sensation, after having become all-time scorer for the Argentinian National Team by scoring 38 goals. He has also scored more than 40% of club team Fiorentina's goals in the past 7 seasons. In a recent interview, when Gabriel was asked if he had any advice for someone looking to get started in football (soccer), his response was, "Easy . . . work hard!"
