Care by Relatives

Conditions under which kids grow and are brought up depend on the structure of
family, on the amount of free time parents spend with their children. And on the connection between the kids and their extended family.

Diagrams given in the following pages tell how much students from different countries who have taken part in the study we propose spend time with their parents, if they have brothers and sisters, if their parents are very busy or not.

For each school, comparison to the average value is made. If in the families of students of some particular school or country brothers and sisters are present more often than the average value, respective rod in the diagram points to the right. In the case if less - it points to the left. Using such a diagram you can easily compare families of students in two arbitrary schools or countries. To get such a comparative result subtract the smaller value from the larger one and make a conclusion in favour of the school or country data for which is initially larger. In the case of smaller value being negative add the absolute values.
