We hope you have found results of our work given in the part "First Results" of this Web-site to be interesting. At the beginning of our work on comparative sociological survey "Ukrainian and United States' kids" we didn't even expect that results of the study can turn out to be so interesting for so many people. Though later on we have found that those results have attracted attention not only of students and teachers of our school (though we were glad with it itself) but of many other people as well. Just because of it Ukrainian students were proposed to write an article to a district newspaper on this subject, and have got a lot of approving reports from people whom they do not know at all.
It was a large work to create
the questionnaire itself and the methodology for processing results, though
now we can propose -
to all those who are
interested
-
to carry out a similar
work through our Web-pages. Results are processed automatically, - though
job on making a report or writing an article to a newspaper you will have
to do yourself (if you feel like it, of course)...
Care, please, of the fact that survey is to be administered to 10 - 13 years old kids, since our questions are elaborated just for students of this age.
Though activity on administering survey and finding interesting comments to results can be carried out by senior students.
Care, please, that answers to the questions of the survey are to be given not less than by 75 students. Otherwise results will be not processed since it would not give good enough average values.
In the pages of the next part of our site results are given in comparison to an average value for each of positions. You will get absolute values for your school via e-mail, comparison of your results to average values will be represented in the site. This will make it possible for you to compare on the basis of some parameters, and without not needed additional troubles, life and preferences of students of your school to information on other students available from our pages.
If you have decided to join us and carry out a sociological study at your school - go, please, to the page "Registration". You can choose all or any groups of questions given in the survey. To see examples of questions of the survey click here.
GOOD LUCK TO YOU!
