Relativity is a huge subject which builds on hundreds of years of Physics research and discovery. Scientists are still learning about Relativity, and about the rest of Physics. The search for a theory which unifies everything is making progress, but has not reached an end. With the information you have learned from these web pages, you should have a much greater understanding of Relativity and related topics. While this should not replace an actual course, it is a good start, and if you now take a Modern Physics course, you can consider yourself well-prepared.

To be more prepared, you should do all of the exercises (as in any Physics course, you have to do problem sets to get the most out of the course). These pages were designed for high school students and middle school students, and do not include very much higher math. While we covered essential topics, the information we offer is only a summary of Relativity. You must take post-Calculus courses to truly appreciate and understand Relativity. We hope you will continue to study Relativity! It is a fascinating subject, and fun, because it uses the imagination.
