20/20 Vision - An environmental group that tries to protect the earth by using grassroots political action.

Action Resource Center - An organization committed to protecting the environment while also fighting for social justice.

Environmental Defense Fund - A US-based group that fights for several environmental issues and tries to mobilize public support to influence the political process.

Environment and Nature Organizations – Yahoo's list of environmental organizations.  The groups operate in various areas throughout the world and have unique missions.

Friends of the Earth - An organization in the United Kingdom that has been educating the public to gain its support since 1971.

Greenpeace - A highly active environment organization with locations around the world.

National Wildlife Federation - An organization dedicated to protecting wild animals and their natural habitats.

NGOs and Institutes – A list of environmental groups, non-governmental organizations, and other institutions provided by Greenpeace.

One Earth One People – A ThinkQuest site describing an environmental organization that consists of students, teachers, and others.

Sierra Club - A US organization that has been stopping polluters and influencing government policy for decades.

The Wilderness Foundation - An American organization that has been protecting wild areas in the US since 1935.
