The WWF is an international group, the largest privately supported conservation group in the world.  There are 116 countries with members, and the group has sponsored over 2,000 projects already.

The organization has now narrowed its focus to three major goals.  It attempts to protect endangered species, save endangered species from being wiped out, and struggle against global threats to wildlife.

Throughout its existence, the WWF has helped to save the giant panda, the tiger, and the rhinoceros.  It continues to be active in saving wildlife and wildlands throughout the world.
