The Rainforest Action Network is a California-based group that seeks to protect the rainforests by taking non-violent, direct action. By making its activities well known, the organization seeks to convince hundreds of thousands of people that the rain forests need to be protected. It hopes that these people will avoid supporting companies that destroy the rainforests, forcing the
