Web Site: http://www.fef.ca/ Dr. Joe MacInnis leads the Friends of the Environment Foundation, a Canadian organization. The Canada Trust Friends of the Environment Foundation started the group in 1990. It
became a non-profit organization after being established by the C anada Trust.Now, the group provides funding for initiatives focused on improving the environment. Both local divisions of Friends of the Environment Foundation and the national organization can
provide funding to environmental projects. The group is aimed at convincing people from across Canada to help to restore the environment in their own communities. People can join the organization as members for as little as $1.25 per month. The Canada Trust matches all membership fees and donations. |
