Earthlife Africa believes that humanity is largely the cause of much environmental devastation.  As a result, the organization is committed to respecting the planet.

The organization also has major political goals, because it was founded in South Africa during a time of political upheaval.  It advocates grassroots democracy and non-violence and struggles against discrimination and exploitation.

Currently, the group has campaigns against air pollution, incineration, landfills, toxic waste, and a nuclear plant.  It also protects animals and takes on a variety of other responsibilities.

There are local divisions throughout South Africa and neighboring nations in the cities of Johannesburg, Cape Town, Dalbridge, East London, Windhoek, and Pietermaritzburg.

New members are welcome to join the organization.  They will receive a newsletter and will be invited to the group's meetings.
