Day 6: Serengeti (Continued)

Today was not a very lively day.  We were getting used to camping (this was our first day camping).  Camping there is like nothing that can be explained.  The tents are so big that a double bed can fit inside.  There are portable showers in your tent.  It is wonderful.

When we woke up (at about seven) we got into our dirty vehicles and drove away into the dusty horizon.  The next few hours were going to be pretty uneventful.

In the afternoon we witnessed a beautiful sunset and saw a few animals.  We also drove by a small swamp.  The bugs in the swamp areas are ferocious.

Look familiar?  Have you ever seen the first ten seconds of the "Lion King"?
