This is where majority of the animal population is.  Zebras, Lions, Buffalo, Tigers, and Cheetah are all here.  The predators love the grass because they can crouch from the prey's sight and then leap at any given time.
 
 

Mountains:

Mostly birds live in the mountains.  There are very few predators that live here.  The main land animals of the mountains are the elephants and the giraffes.
 
 

Forest:

The forest consists of mostly birds and monkeys.  The monkeys like the forest because of the easily climbable trees and the birds like forest because they can rest on tree branches in the shade.
