Roy Williams' Accomplishments

 Roy Williams is the coach of Kansas as well as the 1997 Coach of the Year.  Williams has a career win total of 282.  Williams was the 1997 Sporting News Coach of the Year, the AP Big 12 Coach of the Year, the Big 12 Conference Coach of the Year, and the District Coach of the Year.  In  '95 and '96 Williams was the Big Eight Co-Coach of the Year.  In 1992 he won the AP National Coach of the Year, the Kodak District Coach of the Year, the USBWA District Coach of the Year, the AP Big Eight Conference Coach of the Year, and the NABC East West All-Star Game Head Coach.  In 1990 he won the USBWA National Coach of the Year, the Molten/Billy Packer National Coach of the Year, The AP Big Eight Conference Coach of the Year, and the UPI Big Eight Conference Coach of the Year.  In 1989 he won the National Rookie Coach of the Year.
