Bobby Knight, the legendary coach of Indiana. He was the 1987 Coach of the Year. He was the 1st to win this award. Bobby Knight has a career win total of 744, including 22 NCAA appearances, his teams have won 3 National Championships and finished 3rd in the tournament twice. He also has won 1 N.I.T. title.  Twenty-one players that played for Bobby Knight  received All American and All Big Ten honors.  Two of his players that won National Player of  the Year honors.  Knight has led the American Team to a gold medal in the Pan American games and the Olympic games in 1988.
