常常我們說，「車子的速度是每小時六十公里」•   但當我們說，「車子的速度是每小時六十公里向西開」，這時，純量的速度成了向量速度 (velocity)•

在這，我們看看定恆速度，平均速度，和瞬時速度•
平均速度= 移位
時間

Vav = l/t

定恆速度:

移位 = 速度 x 時間
一個物體以定恆速度動的位置在同樣時是一樣的• Person running vs. time
瞬時速度:
