Camera Protection

It is important to keep your camera clean to make great pictures. Follow these tips to protect your SLR:

Hold the body upside down to blast dirt out. Cleaning the eyepiece with a cotton swab.

Keep lens mount covered when a lens is not connected! This is the best way to prevent dirt to enter the camera and land on the mirror. Be careful if you need to clean the mirror, it is very delicate. Use a microfiber cloth or cotton swab. Try to remove it first by blasting it out with an ear syringe or blower brush. Clean the eyepiece with a brush, microfiber cloth, or cotton swab moistened with denatured alcohol (not rubbing alcohol).
