I shot this picture at the Singapore Zoological Gardens. I just love Merkats. The raccoons were nice too. Anyway, i used an F100 + AFD80-200 f2.8 + 2x TC + Kodak Portra 160VC.
Thought i'd go against the norm that in animal pics, the animals stare out at you through sharp catch-lit eyes. Not hard to do coz these Mercats were a restless bunch of critters :)They were looking everywhere. A very wary species i'd say. You can see more Mercats antics at my website:
