How do I open a canon t50?

We just purchased a canon T50 from a used camera store. We got it home and tried to open it by pulling up on the film rewind crank (that's the way we open our canon ae1) but it would not open. Rather than force it, I thought I'd post this question first: How do you open the back of a canon t50? Thanks in advance!
