Hi,
At my photo class, I learned that my light metering is a bit off on my Cannon AE-1 camera and I don't want to use a hand held meter. My teacher says that even if I spent the $110 or so to fix it, that with such an old camera it might break again in a year or two. Is that true? She then recommended that I buy a Nikon N80 camera. What do you guys think? Fix the Cannon or go with a new Nikon? I really love my Cannon, but don't want to have to fix it repeatedly.
Would love to hear from Cannon or Nikon enthusiasts' opinion.
Thanks!
