I got my Canon FTb at a pawn shop, with 50mm f:1.4 lens, for $50. Perfect working order. Most extra lenses are cheap on ebay as well as flashes, tripod, etc. I can't say much about other cameras but I can say I LOVE my canon, it's a wonderful camera that takes wonderful pictures. :) Try looking it up online if you want to see specs. (It has a built-in light meter, that's my favorite part. Not bad for a camera made in 1971 that cost $50. Match up the needle with the circle and you have a perfect exposure.)
