I NEED HELP.. FAST

Hey all!

My first time really using an SLR is Saturday night, and I was wondering if you all could give me some great tips on how to shoot this.. It will be outdoors, at night, i will be shooting a stage, with only stage lites so it will be fairly dark, but my targets should be lit decently.. im not exactly sure yet.. I also dont think I can use a Flash, so I was wondering what you guys thing..

Film speed? 400? 800? 1000?
Shutter speed?(medium speed moving objects)
Apeture?

I will probably be using a 50mm lens, on an older, manually controled Cannon SLR. Thanks for ALL your tips guys.. i will need it.
