Writing
There are many different forms of the Tibetan language. There is a written version of the language, which contains 30 characters and does not look like the western alphabet at all. It's much more graceful then our alphabet. It has got a kind of ' to distinguish the different words. There's also a holy kind of writing. The Tibetan books are written in this language. The children learn this language at school, but they do not use it often, cause you can only use that language if you are going to write something religious. The writings are collected in silk and laid between 2 wooden planks. Each package is laid in a special cabin in huge bookcases.
Below, there will be explained about the Tibetan alphabet and writing.
