Schools

There were no real schools in Tibet. The people learned from their father or mother what they need to know. Little boys went to cloisters, where they learned to read, write and how to be a good monk. Tibetan monks learn to read and write in three different languages. Tibetan monks learn to write in 3 different ways to write and to speak. The language the Tibetan people speak is very difficult. The official language of Tibet is Chinese. The Chinese people have build some schools in Tibet now. The children who go there often learn only Chinese. Most of that children are sons or daughter of Chinese people living in Tibet.
