I am extremely happy that Marlijn Groenwegen, Janine Medema and Amy Seidle, three girls from the Netherlands and the United States, have chosen to create a website on Tibet as part of the international website contest called ThinkQuest. It is my sincere hope that through this web-site more students and young people around the world will be alble to learn about the history and culture of Tibet as well as about its recent tragedy and what is presently happening in "roof of the world"
I am grateful and encouraged by the efforts of the three girls. the growing awareness and interest in Tibet has always been a source of inspiration. My best wishes and prayers are with you.
