Main Activity
Project Name: PlanetStudy
Mission: Imagine your mission: you will travel to one of the planets, and conduct scientific tests. Which planet would you visit, what kind of data would you collect, and why? You may use our fact sheets to help you decide which type of tests that you will conduct.
Alternate Activities
1) (extracurricular activity) Start a planetary
journal that will include planets sighted,
location in the sky, and time located. Identify
as many planets in the sky (with the naked
eye, binoculars, or a small telescope).
- Spark student's curiosity about the planets.
- Involve them in a personal learning experience.
