The Solar System: Introduction
     We have never traveled outside of our own solar system. A solar system is a group of planets that rotate around one or more stars. Scientists think that there are many solar systems like ours.  Our own solar system has nine planets in it; Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto.  To learn more about these planets, click on the planet below:
