Jupiter is the biggest planet in the solar system by far. In fact, it is 381 times the size of Earth. It is so big that all the other planets in our solar system could fit inside it. Scientists think that Jupiter's core is hotter than the surface of the sun. Jupiter is made 90 percent of hydrogen and 10 percent of other gasses. If you look at the picture above, you might wonder why Jupiter has stripes. Jupiter spins so fast that their ice-cold clouds group into light and dark stripes.
