The second object we will talk about is supernovas. A supernova marks the end of a star's life. Astronomers have recently found a supernova named SN1987A, or Sanduleak. ![]() Supernova 1987A A supernova occurs when a star has fused all of its hydrogen into helium, and has gone through a series of compactions and fusions of different elements.
