[different versions?]
We offer three different versions of the Content section: enhanced (for appearance), light (for faster loading time), and Russian. See below for more information on each of the versions and how features vary between each of them.

Appeal. The enhanced version of the Content section that focuses on appearance. This version of the Content section is Java-intensive with fairly large background images. Although we designed the site to load quickly, the pages will not load instantly on slow Internet connections.

Speed. The light version of the Content section with an emphasis on speed over appearance. To decrease loading time, all Java and background images of the Content section are eliminated. All pages in this version should load instantly on all connections.

Русский. A Russian version of the site designed for fast loading times with all types of Internet connections. This version extends beyond the Content section to cover several other sections of the site.

[exploring the site]

Innovations: the Digital Revolution is a very large web site. In fact, we believe it is the most comprehensive site on the web about history after the 1950s. Everything possible has been done to make it easy to navigate through the site, but we can understand if you still are having problems finding what you need. Here is basic overview of the site's three main sections.

The Contents section contains a comprehensive source of information about post 1950s history. We believe we have chosen the major issues regarding the time period and completely discussed them from our viewpoint. To comment on any of the opinions in the Contents section, please click on the Interact section.

Throughout the Contents section (and the entire site, to a lesser degree) offers quick definitions to commonly unknown words. Just click on the word and a pop-up definition window will appear.

The Interact section allows users to interact with each other and the authors. By devoting an entire section of the web site to user interaction, we highly promote user-interaction.

The Services section contains various services offered by the site. We dedicate this section entirely to author-user interaction, hoping that the user will find continued interest in the site and return for more interaction and learning.

Site Info shows all the people and tools behind the web site. This section also provides information regarding site navigation if you want to find something on this page quickly.
