The Thinkquest team consists of three students: Gary Gong, Irana Bagirova, Jesse Lyon, and one teacher coach: Ukiah High social science teacher Mr. Boynton. The team conceived and completed the project in the span of one year for the Thinkquest international learning festival. Thinkquest is a festival celebrating the use of technology in the classroom.

Innovations: the Digital Revolution is the team's second entry in ThinkQuest. The first project, Veganet: the Centurion's Choice was entered last year as an educational health web site promoting veganism. After one year, we have received much praise for the comprehensive source of vegan information.

I have always been interested in computers and technology, and was ecstatic when the digital technological revolution went mainstream in the '90s. I remember the revolution, dating back all the way to Netscape version 1.2. I was browsing the Internet on Windows 3.1 with a 386 computer! (Sigh ... memories!)
I attend Ukiah High School and have received straight A's from elementary through high school. My current GPA is 4.40. I'm also a lifetime (so far in my high school career) member of CSF (California Scholarship Federation). Other than computers, my interests include music and performing arts. I am a member of the Ukiah Youth Symphony playing the violin. I am also an accomplished pianist, currently learning the Chopin Nocturne Op. 9 No. 2.
I am the site's webmaster. I designed and constructed this web page from scratch without using a third party HTML editor. I also edited the articles found on this site as well a contributing ideas and thoughts to the site focus topic.

My name is Jesse Lyon, and I live in Ukiah, California, which is located about 120 miles north of San Francisco. I am 18 years old and have been accepted to Saint Mary's College of California. I graduated from Ukiah High School the 19th of June 1999. I will be attending Saint Mary's College the fall of 1999 and am looking forward to it. My main goal in life right now is to do well at college so that I can do well in life. My contributions to this project are: the introduction paragraphs to the essays, the essays themselves, the quizzes, and the Q&A.
