Thanks! We were working on something like that with a combination of Java and VRML.

Because of some time constraints and some heavy calculations we weren't able to finish the models but the "work-in-progress" can still be seen here:

Cygnus X-1

We are still working on a trip to Cygnus X-1 and and a typical black hole playing around with VRML's gravity settings. When we're finished and the site is unfrozen we'll be sure to put it up.
