Subject: Ring Singularities

Wouldn't all Black Holes contain singularities of this type? That is, I am fairly certain that EVERYTHING in the universe rotates, however slowly. As a star collapses it will rotate faster and faster (conservation of angular momentum). Therefore at the singularity 'limit', however slowly it was rotating to begin with, a ring rather than a point singularity will be created.

I have also read that in theory you could fly or step through the ring to another universe - shades of Alice in Wonderland and Narnia! (if anyone who reads this is familiar with the C S Lewis stories).
