If light cannot escape from where you are then either time is slowed to nothing or you are travelling at the velocity of light. In this case it is time that is slowed to nothing, so you don't get to cross the event horizon within the timeframe of the universe, not in the form of matter anyway as even background microwave radiation will be blueshifted to gamma so much that the energy delivered to your mass would cause you to be completely annihilated!
