To someone falling towards a black hole, the outside observers would see time slow to a virtual standstill and the person travelling towards the event horizon would never reach it in our frame of reference. To the person falling, time outside would speed up and be very blueshifted and they would see the universe speed up to an almost infinite rate before their fate is sealed - in a normal flow of time to them. Your myths page suggests that this is not the case does it not?
