Astronomers are pretty certain that in the center of our galaxy there is a huge black hole of almost 3 million solar masses (SgrA). Black holes may also play a very crucial role in explaining formations of galaxies.

That concept concerning the reverse universe and black holes is a something that quite a few sci-fi writers have elaborated on. Mathematically it checks out, the positive coordinates are shrunk until they're negative, contraction turns to negative expansion, etc. Sort've like drawing a circle with a negative radius or deflating a basket ball until its interiors become its exteriors. Great food for the imagination! But most would think that instead the radius is crushed closer and closer to 0 and the density closer and closer to infinity.
