As I understand it, the gravitational force of a black hole becomes ever so greater as you near the center. So as matter is pulled into the black hole it will rip every atom apart from each other until there's nothing left. I'm assuming it breaks down even the atoms to subatomic particles and so forth into the original energy that all of the universe is made of. So I don't think any living creatures would live there or even could. I look at a black hole as the universe's garbage disposal in order to keep the recycling process going. There's a lot of junk out there. Hey we're even creating garbage in space! We all need a garbage disposal... I think.
