First of all, I'd like to thank you for taking a sincere interest in me.  I'm assuming that you were impressed with how our site looks, and you just wanted to meet the people who made it all possible.  Here I am!

My name is Morgan Chen and I just recently graduated from Mt. Carmel High School in San Diego, CA.  I will be attending the University of California, Berkeley this fall as an Electrical Engineering and Computer Science major with a business minor.  Many people have been surprised to hear that I turned down private Universities, like Cornell University and the California Institute of Technology, but for me, the choice was simple.  I wanted to receive an education in a large college where, as in real life, you WOULD only be considered a number.  I actually wanted to avoid being pampered so that entering the rat race wouldn't be an awful shock.  In terms of rankings, while Berkeley overall may not be ranked highly, within my major, Berkeley rivals with the best.  In terms of value, Berkeley offers me the best education for the best price.  GO BEARS!

I'm very proud of what I've done in high school, because although it may not be as much as others, I know that I gave each of these activities my full time, commitment, and heart.  I will dispense this list, now.

Doing ThinkQuest has been a wonderful experience for me.  I honestly believe that ThinkQuest pages are so far above the average that it makes me proud to have been associated with this organization.  Creating this page did have one side-effect.  I actually learned more about corals than I possibly could ever learn in any class.  All the work really has been worth it to produce a site we can call our own.
