Launcelot
Launcelot arrived at King Arthurs court at age 18, and he and Guenevere fell instantly in love. He went adventure seeking with Sir Lionel, and all of them were captured by four queens, one of whom was Morgan le Fay. She said that he could either become her lover, or her prisoner. Being faithful to Guenevere, he chose prison. Soon he was rescued by a young lady, and went in search of Guenevere, who had been abducted by King Meleagans. Luckily, he was barely able to conquer the king. Launcelot later came to the land of King Pelles, whose daughter, Elaine, fell in love with Launcelot. She took on the form of Guenevere, and then she and Launcelot gave birth to a son, Galahad. This son was to achieve the Holy Grail later in his life. However, Launcelot was horrified when he found out what he had done, and he left and became a hermit. One night, the Holy Grail appeared to him while he slept, and when he awoke, he was cured of many years of seclusion. Elaine nursed him to perfect health, and he left her without a care. She was later found dead, for she had killed herself out of her love for Launcelot.
