King Arthur

Sir Ector raised King Arthur, for his father, King Uther had died. Upon King Uther’s death, a sword was placed in an anvil which was then placed in a church yard, bearing the inscription that whoever was able to pull out the sword would be the rightful king. One day, Sir Kay, Ector’s son, had forgotten his sword at the festivities in London. Arthur was set out to get it, but wasn’t able to get into the hotel in which they were staying. Arthur remembered the churchyard sword, and therefore retrieved it. When Ector found out about this, he was shocked. Many people would not accept him as their king, so Arthur had to pull the sword again from the stone many, many times. Once King, Arthur set up court at Caerleon and Camelot. Many kings revolted against him, but Arthur defeated every one. Gawain became a knight in his court, and his mother, Morgause fell in love with Arthur, and they then gave birth to a son, Mordred. Little did Arthur know that he had just slept with his own half sister, and that their son would bring on the end of him. Arthur later retrieved his famous sword, Excalibur, from the "lady of the lake." The sword’s scabbard would protect him always, so that he would never die in battle. Arthur won Guinevere as his wife when he defeated the Irish who were attacking her father, King Laodegan. He was also then given the great Round Table. His half sister, Morgan le Fay, was his true enemy, and she stole his scabbard from him after she had tricked him into her evil plots.
