Developing a positive
attitude can help you relieve stress!
|
There are three factors that can help in your quest for the "right attitude":
1. Commitment - allow yourself to commit to the challenge, yourself and the people who are associated with the situation.
2. Challenge - try to look at a situation as a challenge rather than a threat. Talk to yourself (internally or out aloud), thinking about how a particular situation is threatening to you and possible reasons why. You may even learn a few things about yourself!
3. Control - Take control of events in your life and the way people treat you by being assertive and communicating well. People cannot respond to you unless they know what is going on!
A positive attitude is a bonus. Turn negative thoughts into positive ones, try to stop seeing everything as dark and gloomy.
